Dr. Michael Healy grew up in New York and Connecticut. He graduated from Hamilton College with a B.A. in Chemistry. He received his medical degree from St. Louis University and was a member of Alpha Omega Alpha, medical honorary society. He completed his Internship and Residency in Internal Medicine, followed by a Fellowship in Nephrology at Los Angeles County USC Medical Center. He proceeded to attend at LAC-USC Medical Center as a Clinical Professor of Medicine.

Dr. Healy has been practicing Nephrology on the Westside and in the South Bay of Los Angeles for over 40 years. He is board certified in Internal Medicine and Nephrology.

He is married and his wife, Bitte, recently retired from her work at the Motion Analysis Lab at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles. They have two sons and a daughter who live in Manhattan Beach. He enjoys running, cycling, skiing and traveling to visit family on the East coast and Sweden.
